Kate Blumberg is the Latin America Program Director and Managing Director of the San Francisco office. Ms. Blumberg has worked with the ICCT since its inception, supporting improved fuel and vehicle regulatory efforts in China, India, Mexico, and throughout Latin America. Her priorities for Latin America including helping the region clean up existing and new vehicle fleets, including regional harmonization on Euro VI-equivalent standards for heavy-duty vehicles; helping to catalyze the transition to electric vehicles; and supporting local efforts for light- and heavy-duty fuel economy/GHG standards. Ms. Blumberg holds an M.S. in Energy and Resources and an M.S. in Engineering, with a focus on Air Quality, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
